At Kumar Eye Institute, our patients, their families, and the community we serve are our highest priorities. As we take precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are doing everything to put your safety first.
Any patients that are scheduled to be seen, along with their accompanying family members will be screened in our lobby using a questionnaire and a temperature check. If you have a fever, have traveled by air recently, or been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, we will need to reschedule your appointment until a later date.
We are also asking, that no one accompany you to your appointment unless it is absolutely necessary. For our pediatric patients, we are asking that only one parent attend the appointment with their child. We are also making extra disinfecting efforts in between each patient as well.
Masks are require to be worn in the building at all times. Children 3 years and younger are not required to wear a mask. If you refuse to wear a mask, you will not be permitted into the building.
